    Very good

The cottage was incredibly spacious, providing us with plenty of room to relax during our Christmas stay. We were delighted to find that everything we needed was already provided for, making our holiday stress-free. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet setting while still being within a short distance of local amenities.

We didn't have the best experience with the bed in the cottage. It was not as comfortable as we had hoped, and we found it quite difficult to get a good night's sleep.

It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and fast wifi. The views of the mountains were stunning and we enjoyed being surrounded by the peaceful countryside. Jan, the host, was incredibly welcoming and even left us freshly baked bread, homemade jam, and other snacks. We highly recommend this charming and cozy cottage.

The cottage was clean and well-maintained with a homely atmosphere. The views from the windows were stunning, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful countryside and mountains. The owner, Jan, was welcoming and provided us with delicious homemade bread and jam. The location of the cottage was convenient, with supermarkets and fuel stations just a short drive away.

There was no curtain or blind at the back kitchen door, which made us feel a bit exposed. It would have been nice to have some privacy in that area.

Tuck Mill Cottage was an amazing value for money with a fine and beautifully transformed 200-year-old cottage. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the host were really nice with homemade bread and jam, milk, porridge, and other goodies provided. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful views, and the host was really good. We will definitely be back.

More breakfast options would have made the stay even better.

I felt at home in this cozy and peaceful retreat. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views of the surrounding countryside were amazing, especially from the windows in every room. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace, taking in the fine view of the mountains. The hospitality of the owner, Jan, was really good. She welcomed me warmly and even provided homemade bread and jams as a lovely touch. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in making guests feel comfortable was evident throughout the cottage. The wood-burning stove added a cozy atmosphere, especially during the chilly evenings. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of having a coffee machine. The location of the cottage was ideal, allowing me to easily explore the nearby Mourne walking trails and Castlewellan Forest Park. The nearby pub serving delicious food was a bonus.

The location of the cottage was perfect - situated in a quiet countryside setting, yet still close enough to neighboring towns for convenience. The cottage had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area with comfortable seating. The view of the nearby mountains was stunning and added to the overall charm of the location.

While the overall experience at the cottage was enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks. the cottage lacked adequate heating options, which became an issue during colder evenings.
